POLICY FOR SAFETY, QUALITY AND THE ENVIRONMENT – HSEQ
The Company Policy is summarized in the following contents:
The company is aware that its position on the Market depends on the continuous improvement of its Customers’ satisfaction and on the ability to pursue every day full compliance with Customers’ expectations also in terms of intrinsic characteristics of the service provided:
- compliance with contractual commitments and deadlines;
- minimize the environmental impact and reduce the risks for safety and health in the workplace;
- containment of the selling prices of the service.
The activities carried out by CPM Tecsaldo srl have, by their very nature, a limited impact on the environment.
However, the company is aware that greater control of the environmental aspects, both of the activities themselves and of the results of their activities, can be implemented by combining greater respect and protection of the environment with the development of the activities themselves.
In this context CPM Tecsaldo srl has decided to develop a Safety-Quality-Environment Management System compliant with the standard defined by the UNI EN ISO 9001:2015, UNI EN ISO 14001:2015, UNI ISO 45001:2018, UNI ISO/TS 29001 standards :2020 – and to certify it through a Certification Body – applying it to:
Supervision of welding activities and non-destructive testing / quality assurance / quality control. Mechanical, civil, electro-instrumental supervision. Safety surveillance in the extractive industries. Performing non-destructive testing.
The company therefore intends to ensure that all activities are developed effectively and economically in compliance with the following principles:
- process and risk-based approach to corporate activities;
- maximum attention to the customer in order to identify their expectations and promptly and constantly pursue their satisfaction;
- continuous improvement of the service provided through individual accountability at every level on the quality of the activities under their responsibility;
- enhance skills by developing them so as to ensure the best professional skills in order to propose solutions aligned with the best available technologies;
- Reduce the risks for workers in products / services and intervene, to correct themselves, on their operating methods at each stage of the production cycle, including the commitment to provide safe and healthy working conditions for the prevention of work-related injuries and illnesses;
- strong motivation of the staff to work in a team considering those who benefit from the result of their work as “Customers”, whether they are internal or external to the company;
- search for an assiduous and constant collaboration with the suppliers included in the production cycle of service delivery to constantly improve the quality of the services offered to the Customer, containing the environmental impact and reducing the risks connected in the workplace;
- absolute compliance with the laws in force regarding environmental protection, safety, occupational hygiene and accident prevention and constant application of the technical regulations;
- strong attention to prevention rather than the subsequent elimination of defects;
- constant determination in the search for and removal of non-conformities and particular attention to the analysis of any complaints to identify the causes of disservice and promptly eliminate them;
- develop and fine-tune safety plans containing measures and procedures necessary to prevent accidents or emergencies and to contain their effects;
- particular attention to preserving and enhancing the corporate assets made up of human resources with training and updating interventions.
The company has therefore identified the implementation of a Safety-Quality-Environment Management System as the most suitable tool for continuously implementing the objectives set.
The application, development and maintenance of this system directly involve the management and the entire company according to a global perspective: everyone knows what to do (information), how to do it (education and training), with what to do it (availability of vehicles and equipment), pursuing the satisfaction of customers and staff.
The company management undertakes to critically, systematically and objectively examine the adequacy and effectiveness of the Integrated Management System over time through annual reviews, direct feedback and analysis of internal audit results and calls on all operators to play a role active self-monitoring, self-evaluation or signaling of potential improvements.
